Herr Nilsson is all about melody and words, surprises and catchy hooks. The eight members give the songs touches of country, soul and rock`n roll, but most certainly pop! These are tunes Kinks forgot to write in the sixties, and the two Herr Nilsson-records released so far, could both be Greatest Hits-collections from a parallelle universe. The EP ”Tuesday Is My Birthday” released in 2008 contained ”Don`t Put Your Money On My Horse” – another hit by galactic standards.
The band has just finished recording their third album, which will be released this autumn!

NEW EP FROM HERR NILSSON

Our awesome indie pop bigband, Herr Nilsson, has been to the Duper Studio with producer Yngve Sætre, and recorded a new EP called "Tuesday Is My Birthday". This release consists of 3 new songs and a Kaptein Kaliber remix of the "Downhill Thrill" song. It will be released on the 28th of April, and the band will have their release party at Hulen, Bergen on Friday the 25th of April.

On the 28th of February we will have a Karisma Records evening at Garage in Bergen, Norway, where several of our bands will play. The line-up for the evening is: Herr Nilsson, Lonely Crowd, Vaiping, Gallery
The ticketprice is only 100,- NOK, and they are sold through Garage, Apollon record store and our webshop.

Several of our bands are doing shows here and there in the months to come. More gigs will be announced shortly.Lonely Crowd will play a gig in at the TapTab in Schaffhausen, Switzerland on February 17th next year. Casiokids will play at Hulen in Bergen, Norway on January 25th, and several gigs during by:Larm 21th to 23rd of February.Syme will play at Checkpoint Charlie in Stavanger, Norway on January 5th. Vaiping will play at Soria Moria and Mono during by:Larm in Oslo, Norway on the 21st and 22nd of February.
