The electronica duo Kaptein Kaliber has since the start in the mid 90’s, been one of the most influencial bands in the genre. Their vinyl series on Telle Records are already classics, and their insane live show are highly regarded.
John Hegre (also in Jazzkammer etc) and David Aasheim (Magnet) have now been joined by Jørgen Træen (Sir Dupermann, Toy, Duper Studio), and Kaptein Kaliber has become a trio. Their concerts are still just as chaotic, and so far this year they’ve played with giant penguins among other things.
With ”Hjelp”, released on Karisma Records in 2007, Kaptein Kaliber continues to write electronica history!

Famed Norwegian electronica act, Kaptein Kaliber, will release their new album, "Hjelp", in November on Karisma Records. The band consists of John Hegre (Jazzkammer etc.), David Aasheim (Magnet) and Sir Duperman (Duper Studio, Toy etc.).
