Vaiping are one of the most exciting groups among Norway's underground music scene. With their German inspired polar expedition-industrial-electronica-rock, we can draw parallels with artists such as Massive Attack, Tool, Bjork, Kraftwerk and Tom Waits.
Their debut album "The Great Polar Expedition" was launched in March 2007 on Karisma Records. This release aimed far beyond the Norwegian borders with their chilly Nordic sound - a sound which clearly has international potential. Visually Vaiping reinforce the industrial aspects of their music by appearing on stage dressed as oldfashioned boilermen smeared with coal and oil - something obviously outside the usual on a concert scene. 2009 will see the release of Vaiping’s 2’nd full length album.

The ticketprice is only 100,- NOK, and they are sold through Garage, Apollon record store and our webshop.

Several of our bands are doing shows here and there in the months to come. More gigs will be announced shortly.Lonely Crowd will play a gig in at the TapTab in Schaffhausen, Switzerland on February 17th next year. Casiokids will play at Hulen in Bergen, Norway on January 25th, and several gigs during by:Larm 21th to 23rd of February.Syme will play at Checkpoint Charlie in Stavanger, Norway on January 5th. Vaiping will play at Soria Moria and Mono during by:Larm in Oslo, Norway on the 21st and 22nd of February. Gallery will play at Garage in Bergen, Norway on the 11th of January.Herr Nilsson will play at Folken in Stavanger, Norway on January 11th.
