From its beginning as a hobby project, started to release albums with talented friends, Karisma Records has grown to become one of the most significant and recognized record companies in the Nordics within progressive rock and related genres. In connection with the record company’s 20th anniversary, we invite you to a one-day festival on two stages at Det Akademiske Kvarter in Bergen and concerts with a number of artists from the company’s roster.

Even though we are closing in on 10 years since the last BRIMSTONE release “Mannsverk”, we are very pleased to have the band as part of the line up. With their unique blend of 60s and 70s inspired rock mixing in elements from both prog and psychedelic rock, the band has been a personal favorite among parts of the label staff, a somewhat dusty gem from Bergen for you to discover.
Hailing from Trondheim, Norway, Arabs in Aspic have their roots firmly planted in the Golden Era of rock, as exemplified by their sound, which is a sweet mixture of loud, heavy guitars and drums, 12 string acoustics, funky bass and percussion, screaming Hammond organs, soft Rhodes, Mellotrons and 70’s Synths, topped with plentiful vocal harmonies.
TUSMØRKE is a psychedelic, progressive folk rock band from Skien, Norway, playing music inspired by the international bronze age, local myth, paradolia and stargazing. When they’re not writing 26-minute songs about The Black Death, they like to express themselves through concept albums about Danish Iron Age swamp mummies and abstract theories of light (and darkness).
With their new album “SUMMIT” releasing May the 26th, now is the perfect time to see SEVEN IMPALE perform!
